ANGLER'S MARINE

Banes, Mike, and I stopped by Angler's Marine today to stock up for this weekend. They have this tank full of bass. I've been thinking about getting some pet bass too.

Check these bad boys out!

We had a moment.

OUR LITTLE RESIDENTIAL SPOT

Mike and I got up at 6am to go fish this little residential lake in Fullerton. This guy is an American Coot.

There were so many birds here, all of them scoring a bunch of little fish. This Great Egret was mimicking Mike, but I think Mike should have been mimicking him.

Oh what? I don't need to mimic those dumb birds.

Weeds everywhere.

This guy didn't want to bite. I almost got him a few time, just by trying to piss him off. But then a duck came and ruined everything.

See that turtle? Mike almost got him and his buddy.

This guy didn't want to bite either. I think there's just too many people fishing this little lake everyday.

IRVINE LAKE WITH KENNY

First ones on the dock.

I caught this little guy on my second or third cast of the morning.

Literally the first ones on the water.

Mike caught this bass, looks like jaundice.

Banes showing what he's working with.

Kenny with his first catch of the day.

Kenny started figuring it out.

Banes oozing style.

At this point Banes was going crazy already, so I was just happy to catch one.

The lake got REAL DIRTY by the dam.

Kenny landing his second bass.

Serious business.

Banes getting down at our new hot spot.

Action shot.

Mike with a beaut.

Kenny had a real nice one, but it broke his line off... er errr.

Miguel.

Gross little parasite.

Kenny broke Shane's rod.

Banes caught 14 this day.

He's got a black black heart.

Great Blue Heron.

LAKE ISABELLA ROUND TWO: DAY TWO

Like I said before, my Dad only catches nice sized bass.

Wassup?

This bass is so edgy, it turned the photo to black and white.

My cousin's cousin, Levi.

Silly shore fisherman, Banes with the bass and Mike with the iphone pic.

Their point of view.

Mike also found a dead vulture. Sorta makes you want to pet it.

LAKE ISABELLA ROUND TWO: DAY ONE

We go up to my Aunt's house at Lake Isabella a lot.

My Dad started off the day smoking us.

Mike representing Skeleton Crew.

My skunk insurance.

Banes' skunk insurance.

I've never seen this before. Mike didn't hook this one, nor snag it.

He straight up lassoed it.

Another nice one.

This is just a funny photo of my Dad driving the boat fast.

The perfect way to end a nice day.
